Whitney Porch-Van Heuvelen holds a Master of Fine Art in Graphic Design from the University of Notre Dame provided by a full tuition fellowship and a Bachelor of Fine Art in Visual Communications from the University of Oklahoma. Mrs. Van Heuvelen teaches full time as a graphic design professor at Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma while maintaining and continuing the development of her design portfolio through a wide variety of diverse clients. She is the Creative Director at Whitney Porch Design. Whitney understands the unique relationship between designer and client, and that great creative design solutions can unfold by working together as a client/designer team.
Her design work has been published, exhibited both in and out of state and has won numerous awards. She recently won a 2012 Silver Addy for Best Publication for OCU LAW Alumni Magazine and a Gold Addy for Best Special Event Campaign for her personal wedding campaign from the Oklahoma City Advertising Association. In 2011, Mrs. Van Heuvelen won Silver Addy medals for Best Publication, Best Magazine Spread and Best Cover for her design work for the 2010 Oklahoma City University School of Law Alumni Magazine.
Currently, Whitney is developing a line of handmade cards using custom papers and embellishments.
